Octane Coffee will officially open its doors for business Friday, March 1. Located at 2821 Central Ave., the fresh new café features coffee, cocktails and pastries for any time of day.

Finishing touches such as signage will be put up in the coming week as employee training takes place. The store will be open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 21 and 22, and 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25 through opening day.

Octane Coffee is a chain owned by Fresh Hospitality Group, also notable for Jim N Nick’s and Taziki’s. Octane has three existing Atlanta-area locations already and plans to open another location in the new Westin Hotel in downtown later this year.

The Homewood Octane, managed by Brett Burton, produces all of its food and drink products in-house. The store provides multiple varieties of competitively priced coffees as well as breakfast and desert pastries.

Octane’s hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m. to midnight Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday.
