New furniture decor store downtown

eHomewood is a new furniture décor store now open in Homewood on 18th Street.

Owner Michael Carey said he wants to focus the store’s style around unique pieces, including reclaimed and industrial stylings.

“There is not anyone in the Birmingham area that is focusing on the furniture trends we are targeting, combined with our entire home furniture lines,” Carey said. “I thought we would be a good fit for the area.”

Carey grew up in the Homewood area and enjoys the Homewood atmosphere. He plans to have a grand opening of the store before the first of the year.
