Edgewood interiors store to hold grand opening

New Edgewood interiors store Moxii will have its grand opening April 4-6.

Moxii specializes in interior design, bedding linens and gifts for the home as well as dorm decor for students. The store, owned by interior designer Katherine Bailey, started in Auburn, then moved to Innovation Depot downtown before opening in Edgewood this month.

Opening festivities will include wine and cheese on Thursday from 5-7 p.m., coffee and scones on Friday from 10 a.m.-noon, an "after school snack" of lemonade and cupcakes Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. for students Edgewood Elementary, and a Mimosas and Meet the Artist event with Mon Petit Chou Jewelry on Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Homewood Chamber of Commerce will also hold a Ribbon Cutting on April 4.

In addition, the store will be holding giveways for productions and a decorating consultation during the festivtiies, and there will be daily special sales. On Thursday pillows will be 20 percent off, Friday new arrivals 20 percent off and Saturday Moxii’s Classic Series 20 percent off.
