Alabama Outdoors to host porch party Friday evening

Alabama Outdoors is hosting a porch party on Friday evening.

The Party on the Porch, which runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on July 10, will benefit Freshwater Land Trust, a nonprofit organization that acquires and stewards lands that enhance water quality and preserve open space.

The event will feature live music from Jason Bailey and Old Fashioned Rhythm Method, food from Cantina On Wheels and local draft beer from Cahaba Brewing, available in a $10 collectible cup. Corn hole boards will also be set up, and face painting for kids will be available while supplies last.

There will also be a raffle for two general admission passes to Sloss Music & Arts Festival and a Festival Prize Pack. The winner will be announced at 7:15 p.m. Freshwater Land Trust will also be raffling off two pairs of tickets to Land Aid, their upcoming benefit at Avondale Brewing Company.
