The fourth annual Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk was held on Oct. 21. This year brought together 32 teams and 577 registrants – the run’s highest participation to date. more

In the coming year, 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and 13,000 women will die from ovarian cancer in the U.S., said Jenny McInerney, executive director of the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation. more

Students wore “Fort’s Fighters” T-shirts of other pink pieces and held up signs with encouraging phrases such as “We love you Mrs. Fort,” “Keep fighting” or “Fight against cancer together.” more
