Red ribbons will be placed on lampposts throughout the Homewood during the week of Oct. 26. The Safe & Healthy Homewood Coalition and Homewood City Schools campaign seeks to spread awareness about the dangers of teen drug use. Read more


Dr. Dale Wisely, a child and adolescent clinical psychologist, will be giving a talk on Parenting the Teen Driver Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Homewood Public Library. Read more


Talking to children about the dangers of marijuana use has never been more difficult, according to the Safe & Healthy Homewood Coalition, so the organization is planning a forum to discuss the issue. Read more


This year the Safe & Healthy Homewood coalition is partnering with businesses, city government and the Homewood Police Department to spread awareness about the dangers of teen drug use. Read more
