The Homewood Board of Education will have the first public hearing for its 2027 budget on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The public hearing is scheduled as part of the board’s regular August meeting at 5:30 p.m. The board typically has a work session at 4:30 p.m. as well. A second budget hearing is scheduled for Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
The fiscal 2026 budget was about $100 million.
The Homewood Board of Education meets at the school system’s central office at 450 Dale Ave.
