The Homewood Rotary Club awarded scholarships totaling $13,500 to five 2013 graduates of Homewood High School. Recipients are Tracy Awino, Genesis Barco, Bailey Douthit, Mary Claire Galloway and Eden Harris.
Homewood Rotary Club members annually award scholarships to deserving Homewood students on the basis of academic achievement and participation in school and community activities.
This year’s recipients were introduced to club members by education foundation chairman Lawrence Corley at the May meeting at Homewood Public Library. Each spoke of their high school experience and future plans.
