Homewood Police Department is trying to identify the suspects in a robbery at the America’s Best Inn on Summit Parkway.
Video surveillance at the inn shows a black female enter the lobby, talk to the worker at the front desk and leave in a dark colored car. The car is possibly a Chevrolet Cruz, according to a post on the Homewood Police Department Facebook page. The same car returned a few minutes later and two black males came into the lobby. One of the suspects threatened the clerk with a handgun, demanding his wallet and money. Both suspects jumped the counter and took money from the cash drawer.
