A Community Comes Together to Rally4Rachel
The community of Edgewood bonded together for a night to encourage one of their residence. On Oct. 13 the event Rally4Rachel was held in honor of Rachel Corscadden who is battling breast cancer. The mayor of Homewood closed off Broadway Street to allow for the festivities to take place. The event raised donations to go directly to the Corscadden family as Rachel fights off stage four breast cancer. Ashley Berkery, the event's coordinator, says that the night was meant for Rachel " to meet all of her neighbors and see all of the support she has."
