The Homewood Chamber of Commerce will honor an outstanding student from each Homewood school during its annual Excellence in Education Award luncheon on April 15. State Superintendent of Education Dr. Tommy Bice will be the guest speaker of the event.
The event, held at The Club from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., will acknowledged the Chamber’s 2013-14 Achievement Award winners, and the high school recipient will be awarded with a scholarship.
