Art opening coming to 18th Street

Phyllis Gibson's "Happy Day" is among the works that will be a part of the April 17 event at Four Seasons Gallery.
Four Seasons Gallery is holding a group art opening, "As We See It," on April 17.
The event, which runs from 5-8 p.m., will feature the works of three Birmingham artists, Mary White Sowell, Phyllis Gibson and Carolyn McDonald. Their most recent works using acrylic, oils and mixed media on canvas will be on display.
Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served during the opening, which is free and open to the public. The first 50 people to arrive can enter to win an original painting by one of the featured artists.
