Homewood Police Department
Together with the FBI, personnel from the Homewood Police Narcotics Unit, Special Operations Unit and Criminal Investigations Department conducted a prostitution and human trafficking operation at the Hilton Garden Inn on Lakeshore Drive on Oct. 15.
As stated in a release sent by the Homewood Police Department, a total of five suspects were arrested during the operation for the following:
- James Hendricks, human trafficking
- Cordarius Cowlin, misdemeanor FTA and human trafficking
- Michael Arnold, human trafficking
- Erin Lane, felony probation
- Angel Christina Ozbolt, felony failure to appear
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff website, Lane was previously arrested in June for prostitution and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and Hendricks was released from Jefferson County Jail the morning of Oct. 19.
Surveillance units contacted multiple other male suspects, but they were released upon positive identification.
