What if an excellent education could also offer something different?
At Highlands School, students experience rigorous academics within a diverse, close-knit community designed to challenge, support and inspire them. Serving students from infancy through eighth grade, Highlands combines academic excellence with opportunities that develop confident individuals, thoughtful citizens and lifelong learners.
Learning extends beyond traditional academics. Students engage in project-based learning, STEM and STEAM, leadership opportunities and hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and collaboration. Beginning in the early grades, students also explore three world languages — Chinese, French and Spanish — building cultural awareness and a global perspective from an early age.
Set on a 12-acre wooded campus, Highlands gives students room to learn, explore and grow. Outdoor spaces, gardens, playgrounds, a soccer field and walking trails become an extension of the classroom and provide opportunities for discovery, connection and play.
Diversity is central to the Highlands experience, with students learning alongside peers from different backgrounds and perspectives. Within our tight knit community, students are known as leaders and encouraged to discover their strengths.
