March 21: Greater Birmingham Humane Society ARTreach
to
Four Seasons Gallery 2910 18th Street South, Homewood, Alabama 35209
Join Four Seasons Gallery, Generation Dog: Where Dogs Are Family and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society for a night of live music, wine tasting and art supporting our furriest friends in town. The event is part of Four Seasons’ ARTreach series, benefiting local non-profit organizations, and is open to the public. Featured artists for the night will be local painter Adelaide Booth and local sculptor Susan Lanier. Both artists were chosen to be featured because of their strong affinity for animals, and will be present the night of the event, along with some adoptable furry friends from GBHS and gourmet dog treats courtesy of Generation Dog.
Throughout the month of March, 10 percent of proceeds from the sale of works by these featured artists at Four Seasons Gallery will go towards the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Four Seasons and Generation Dog will also donate 10 percent of sales from purchases made with the cards to GBHS. Printable cards will be available at gbhs.org and 4seasonsantiquesandart.com.
Submit a picture of your cat or dog to liz@4seasonsantiquesandart.com by March 16 for a chance to win a custom piece of artwork of your pet. Four Seasons Gallery and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society will post the pictures on Facebook for “liking.” The dog with the most likes gets a custom portrait by Adelaide Booth, and the cat with the most likes receives a Susan Lanier cat sculpture. You must be present at the event March 21 to win.
