Hunter Payne delivers dry cleaning to local homes in his business’ new Gem.

Hunter’s Cleaners in downtown Homewood will offer a new eco-friendly automobile for home deliveries starting in late January.

The Polaris GEM (Global Electric Motorcar) e4 has an area where hanging garments can hang without wrinkling, as well as a storage area for bags of clothes.

The cleaning service will provide deliveries to homes around the downtown Homewood area and will service most of the Hollywood and Edgewood areas.

The service runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call Hunter’s Cleaners at 871-6131.
