Sixth-graders at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School portray Civil Rights activists during a living wax museum. The project was a part of their social studies curriculum about the era.
Sixth-grade students at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School presented a living wax museum as part of their social studies curriculum on the Civil Rights Movement.
During their study of the Civil Rights Movement, students learned about and portrayed some of the people who helped change the United States.
Students researched the individuals they would portray. The OLS Family Life Center was decorated, and students dressed in costumes and used visual aids to share information with fellow classmates.
