Edgewood Elementary's Excellence assembly.
Edgewood Elementary School held its Edgewood Excellence assembly on Dec. 11 to recognize the students who have shown excellence in four areas: kind, responsible, respectful, and positive.
Guest speaker Wellness Coordinator Nivada Spurlock talked to the students about being motivated to strive for excellence in all they do. Spurlock also selected two students for the first Thumbs Up Award. Lucy Jiminez-Martinez and Pate Owen received this award because they follow the 4-F’s: friendship, fitness, focus and framework.
